Clayton: Basically, you can just add the cost of the concrete to the cost of the wood; the wood has to be there anyway to support the concrete, plus a little more wood or steel, as mentioned, to support it. Are you thinking of radiant heat in the second floor? Gypcrete is 1/2 the weight, but twice the cost.
