How long after taping drwall can I paint?

I used 90 hot mud and AP mud. How long do should I to wait?

I think the 90 is drying time. All the joint compounds emit heat when drying due to the chemical reaction. The quicker drying ones can get quite warm. You can tell with normal joint compound when you can sand and paint it by discoloration that is moisture in it that hasn't evaporated yet.
So how long should I wait for the normal all purpose joint compound to dry?
