One of the selling point for thermostatic is that you can leave the temperature setting at a certain point, and only have to turn on the volume control and always be able to get the same temperature.

So I'm curious what would happen when you first turn it on and the water in the pipes are cold? You're still going to get cold water coming out regardless of what the temperature setting is at.

I am trying to justify the price premium for thermostatic over pressure balanced, and having a hard time.
