How do you ground yourself

How do I ground myself when working on home electrical stuff?

You don't. You insulate or isolate yourself.

Do something you're not supposed to and be stuck at home for a week.
Ground means earth so it's pretty tough. Just make sure all the power is off when working

The idea of grounding one's self relates to electronics, not electrical power. Static electricity can damage sensitive equipment. Electrical power can damage you.

Power off and even then, one hand in a back pocket, just in case.

You don't. The ONLY time is when you are working on sensitive electronics then you ground your self to the actual device you are working. And normally that device is powered off or disconnected from the mains

The only time that you will see someone grounded, is if they get in trouble.

Ground yourself while working on electricity. You may not like the after effects, but at least you will not do it again.
