I want to vault a square shaped roof that goes up to a small ridge . Ya know, picture for triangles up to a roof in the shape of a square.

A picture of the existing roof would help====and the attic---vaulting is not easy on some roof / ceiling systems as the ceilings joists often keep the walls from bowing out---Pictures or a much better description are needed.
