That is true. The pictures went in the wrong order. Bottom picture is the concrete curb that has been blasted out with a hammer. The top picture is the rebar that remains.

Angle grinder you say? What kind of blade?

Yup right angle grinder with thin reinforced metal blades. You can also use an offset adapter in your sawsall, and a long hack blade, you just flex the blade down into a curve so it runs along the floor.

One Sawzall blade will easily cut what you show in the picture.

An angle grinder will zip them off just fine too but I have a hard time recommending a grinder first when other (safer) methods will work just fine, especially here, in a DIY Forum.

I always said when I got that look, "Hey, you're the one that wanted me to do this so don't complain when I have to get the stuff to do it with! Think I'm gonna cut wood with a steak knife? No, I need this circular saw, and a chop box, and a table saw, and a sabre saw and a sawzall. And the blades to go with them. If these don't work I'm need something else too" :thumbup:
