Well, I have a wall in the front room that has a gas fireplace insert and I know the general look I would like to end with but am not sure if it's a tile like product or if it isn't is there one simular. Here's a coup of internet pics that interest me and would like to somewhat end up with.
I have tiled only one other surface before and that was an entry way many years ago so I am doing alot of reading from the pros in this subforum as I'm also hoping to pull off wood look tile planks on the floor at a later date. But for now I'm wanting to set off the wall such as in the pics and don't know how to pull that off as of yet...even advice on prep and underlayment would be much welcomed. Thanks!
