Have a System 2000, and a Vaughn 40 gal Aqua Booster.
We were told couple years back, that we would never have a hot water demand problem.
But, recently, we cannot take two baths in a row, without running out of hot water. The seems seems to run to heat it up.
Recently we had a new tub , shower unit and shower valve installed.
So the question is....is it the shower valve or the furnace and aqua booster I have to look into??
Who do I call plumber or oil company?

You can call either . If you trust your oil companies service staff to actually look and resolve the issue without just trying to sell you something new then you can try them. Otherwise I would find a mechanical systems company or a plumber who has experience with boilers and indirect water heaters. You shouldn't be running out of hotwater with two showers. If you are taking two baths that might be an issue

Did this start immediately after the bathroom changes or sometime after that? Did you install very high volume shower heads, or eco low volume versions? When was the last time you had your boiler cleaned? Is your circulation pump working? Is your system indirect or direct domestic hot water heated? (indirect, there will be a another heat exchanger just for your hot water)

Cheers!

It started soon after the valve replacement. Only isa problem with two baths in a row. We put in a soaker tub, but the last tub was a soaker. Boiler was cleaned last month, but they never seem to do anything with the aqua booster.as for direct/indirect , I guess I should know but do not. The hot water running on it's own zone, which still works because I still get hot water to all the sicks, just seems to run out at the bath

System 2000.

Should have a Brazed plate heat exchanger for the domestic, and a storage tank for the hot water.

Next time it happens, someone should go down to the boiler and look to see if teh control is actually calling for the boiler to make hot water. The tank sensor/thermostat make be going out.
