Has anyone seen this before? My whirlpool hot water heater is leaking from the gas control valve. Suggestions?

Thanks! That's what I thought. This thing is only 4 years old! Now to figure out how Home Depot will honor the warranty!
They will not. The mfg most likely will not if it is coming from the connections, or it is where water got down the B Vent some how.

Whirlpool water heaters are junk and not worth fighting for the same one. Go to a local plumbing house or order online a A. O. Smith or the Rheem/Richmond series.

BTW, it is a Water Heater. Hot Water is what it creates.
