Hello,
I just bought a house that was built in 2005. During the day, there is about a 15 degree difference between the upstairs and downstairs. When I check the vents, they are blowing pretty hard and cold.
I'm wondering if I need more ventilation in my attic. Soon as the sun goes down, the upstairs cools down considerably. By midnight, it's freezing.
I have soffits and I do have one fan that is controlled by a light switch, not thermostat. The fan is at one corner of the house.
Normally one would think that the house was built with proper exhaust in mind. If you see this house, you will see that it's not your average design.
