Hello Guys, my vacuum is out of warranty and the high suction warning flap inside the unit is acting up. I want to open it to check it and eventually fix it, but one screw obviously :vs_mad: requires a special tool. It's hard to see it because it is located in the deep hole. It looks like a star, but isn't. Any idea? Thank a lot in advance.

Hello Guys,

No it's not a security head screw, there is no pin in the middle. I know those screws from the low voltage installations, I'd recognize it. It looks almost like a rivet with a half sphere drilled in it. Very strange.

In terms of correcting things, everything has been done, I cleaned the hose, the canister (it's a bagless cyclone unit), everything. And it happens when I cover the main intake into the vacuum , so it's definitely an inside affair. Just FYI, I am not some lumber Jack (no ofense lumber Jacks...), I fix stuff on the regular basis.

You can only wonder why they don't want you in there... always makes me more determined than ever. Does it look like below? I think you already nixed the security screw idea but it won't hurt you to look.
