I purchased 2 of these units about 2 years ago.
No problems until now. On one unit, only the left half
of the display works. It still lights up, but I can not change the temperature
or use any controls on the right side of the unit.

Honeywell tells me the warranty is over and I need to
buy a new one.

Any ideas?

2 months later, out of nowhere, the unit works!
I had kept the unit, since half the display worked, including on/off. Now the entire screen works.

The HVAC Fairy did you a solid:thumbsup:

Now in order to keep the Good Karma going you must find the nearest hvac tech and tip him $200.

Actually I don't know how long it wall last.

LCD screens will usually fragment digits if exposed to direct sunlight or heat.
