Hello, this is my first post here and hoping to get some help. I installed a new thermostat, and it works well, except for one thing that's making me nuts. I have every day of the week programmed for 72 degrees. For some reason, between 9-10pm it's like it reverts to a default or something. It goes to 66-68 degrees and holds that till the morning. It's wired correctly or wouldn't work at all I've read, but it's that night time problem I can't figure out.

I greatly appreciate any help on this!!!!

Thanks. I've checked and triple checked, everything is set to 72, and keeps to it, until the night. Strangest thing. Wondering if there is a way to zero out the defaults maybe?

perhaps someone else in the house is turning it down? assuming there is someone else.

LOL, only other person in the house is the one screaming at me to fix the thermostat so no, noone turning it down.

if that's true and no one is playing a game with you, return the stat if it's not doing what it's supposed to. (be sure that weekends are also programmed, check the programming with a fine tooth comb)

So you have all 4 daily events set to 72? Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep?

If it's regular like clockwork then you have overlooked a program somewhere. That's the only logical answer.

Hi and Thanks. Well I called Honeywell, and after being on hold for 20min literally I was able to explain to the guy what was going on. No Joke!!! he actually said..."Well it could be the weather". I have no words for what my brain experienced, and I still am baffled by that. So after another 20min of me asking him to repeat himself I was finally advised that I should take back and get a new one. Again, I have no words, pffft. So I took my HoneyHELL thermostat back, got a different brand and that one seems to be working.
