Ayuh,.... I can't visualize what yer sayin', but it sounds kinda small, actually more like Tiny....
I built mine with a 400 gallon propane tank firebox, inside a 500 gallon steel pressure tank, for a head of 100 gallons...
'n the inner tank also has nearly 40' of 2x4 steel tubin' welded inside, as more heat exchanger...
The inner tank, is Completely surrounded by water...
It's also run at 12/ 15psi, like the house boiler, insteada bein' an open, non-pressurized type...
The firebox is 'bout 3'x 5', 'n I burn chunk wood,...
When outside temps are above 0°, I pack it full, twice a day...
Temps as they are now, -0°, I'm up to 3 times a day...
I'm heatin' a 100 year old farm house that was built several times, without a plan,...
Basically uninsulated, with bad windows, 'n drafts 'bout everywhere...
Have a look 'round Here,... Good info, but slow traffic, 'n a whole forum for Home Builders...
Sounds like you could get away with an open system, which is easier to build...
But yer plan sounds too small...
