most common cause is a loose connection either at the outlets, switches, in a junction box, or in the electrical panel. Are those that don't work on the same circuit breaker or fuse?
It was working suddenly part of the house outlets and lights stopped working. I looked in the panel all are on the on position? Where else can I look at to fix this problem?
This is not proof they are on the same circuit.
We need some more info to really help.
Do you have a circuit map? Any chance of a MWBC? have you flipped the culprit 'circuit' off then back on? What precipitated the power loss? Storm? Plugging in new item? Anything?
A tripped circuit breaker does not always appear as such. One by one, go down each side of the panel, switching off, then stwitching back on, each breaker.
