european products are always so poorly documented...
well, i got a CF-DS 1 foam gun on eBay and the documentation that came with it nowhere specifies which can it's compatible with. so, naturally, i assume there is only one kind that comes with its own disposable nozzle but which is also compatible with the gun, which is what HD sells (CF 116).
well, it turns out that's wrong ...
even after extensive googling "hilti foam can does not fit gun" and variations thereof, nothing comes up.
brute force searching related links, i discover that there is a product called CF 812 and that's what fits on the gun... well, DUH, couldn't they be more specific in their instructions??
but here is the problem: i was trying to fit the 116 nozzle onto the gun and when i pressed, some foam went into the gun but the can didn't mount. my concern is whether that foam hardened inside the barrel and will i be able to use the gun again, i.e. is it destroyed? or can i just clean it with something or will it simply be OK without any repair?
thanks
