I finished a second coat of high-gloss Advance on some interior trim, and I'm seeing faint scratches from some errant 220 grit sandpaper between coats. I'm also feeling dust nibs. Apart from re-painting in a sterile room, is there a way to remove dust nibs and faint scratches after painting without damaging the high gloss finish? Sandpaper with grit in the thousands? Furniture wax?
