Hiding low voltage cable

I would like to place a table as a keypad on the wall. I would like to hide the power cable behind the wall. Is there a good and safe way to do so?

I was thinking of splitting the electric cable and attaching a box inside the wall and putting a receptacle and a transformer inside of the wall inside of the electrical box. That way it won't be Sean.
