Pump was leaking needed to replace the seal. Did that put it back together and pump started smoking. It looked like the v piece on the back of the shaft was moving slowly and then breaker kicked off electricity. At first the v piece got stuck on piece connected to shaft and was smoking shut it down try again that's what cause the breaker to go off. Any ideas on this

Motors don't run on electricity. They run on smoke. The electricity is only needed to keep the smoke in. Once the smoke gets out, the motor is no good.... :whistling2:

Time for a new pump.

Sounds like the seal leaked and water got into the motor. Fried!
