Nice to be joining this community! Im 27 and I just bought a house! Me and my wife are doing some major updates and im trying to do everything that I can by myself to save money! I love being able to accomplish new task every day! Most of my questions will probably have to do with Electrical wiring. I have dealt with wiring on cars my whole life and know that DC is completely different from AC. (why the heck is the black the ground on cars, and then its the positive in a house) lol I feel like they want people to get shocked lol.

Anyways I will be posting my first question as soon as I post this, as it is the reason for me seeking help on this forum! Thank you in advance!
