Hi all -- not a plumber - never done this before -- but under the current COVID19 lockdown -- no plumbers are coming over.

I have to replace my kitchen faucet asap.

But I am unsure of how to remove the old one -- cannot find pics of a sink like this on line despite looking.

I remove 2 large screws from the 2 holes you can see. But that piece won't budge otherwise.

Every video I find seems super easy.

Not even sure if I am supposed to remove the part in the photo -- but seems like I must in order to pull the old faucet off. Which up to the point I am at -- will not budge.

Please help!
