take the no hub band off right where it goes in the cabinet wall. get a water hose and an old towel. get a bucket or something to hold water and put under what you are about to do. put the hose a few inches in the drain. wrap the towel in the space between hose and drain to form as good of a seal as you can. get the wife or a friend to turn the water on for five seconds and then turn it off. it will either blow out the problem or back up in the vent stack where the bucket will come in handy when you remove your towel. if it fixes it, good. if the water blows back on you and in the bucket at least you now know where your problem is. thanks, budro
