Hello all, I finally have time and decided that I want some sort of home theater. What I am looking for is more important than the 'best ht experience'. It is more of a game room than a home theater.
I'm getting two 42" 1080p HDTVs and I want to have the same image on both. I have a pair of KRK ST6 passive monitors http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/KRK-ST6-2-Way-Passive-Studio-Monitor-each?sku=602270 and I want to buy one of their sub woofers also.
I do not care about surround at the moment and I am happy with the flat and natural response of these monitors.
I need help, however, in order to determine what other components I will need to acquire.
I have:
2 Sharp HDTVs
2 passive 6" monitor speakers (100 W)
1 sub
1 Blue-ray player
1 Satellite TV receiver
I want:
To be able to see either the satellite tv or blue-ray on both TVs at the same time and also is there an amplifier or receiver that will allow me in the future to hook up another 2 speakers to put elsewhere that will output the same sound?
The less components I have to buy, the better.
Also what cables or attachments will I need?
I tried looking online at some components but have some trouble regarding the different inputs and outputs of each one!
