Just to give you a backdrop; I live in a 1012sq ft house. It is on a crawlspace cinder blocks. 1982.
Of course hairline vertical crackers are around the house; we have quite a few actually. I covered most with construction adhesive. No Horizontal crackers.
We live in sort of a flood plain and the soil is mixed with clay. So expansive clay is bad for the foundation I know.
Anyways one day after clearing bushes from the side of my house, I noticed this long curvy horizonal line going on the side of my house.
It would almost like like a deer took his antlers and made it. My wife says she hears scratching noise on that side of the house sometimes in the mornings. I am a little worried and hope this isn't some big horizonal crack forming in its early stages.
