I am building a house with a tile shower that will have 3 shower heads. 2 normal shower heads on oppsoing walls, and a rain head in the center

i've heard the cheapest way to go is a 3 way 7 position diverter that will let me turn on any head, or any combination of 2, but not all 3

That sounds exactly what im looking for, but i can't find anything like that local, and online everything i see doesn't have much for a product description. Can you guys help me pick a few out that will suit my needs and find temp/volume controls that match, or are in the same finish. Im trying to get this done as cheap as possible, so id like to go chrome so i can get matching finishes easily

can anyone help me.

ps, did i mention im running out of money. So i need to go the cheapest route possible, without scabbing it together

i don't have an exact budget for this, i will spend whatever it takes, but i've been figuring out pretty quick that with these custom showers that you get into the thousands real quick. I can just tell you i don't have that kind of a budget

will this valve do what i want, and then i just need temp/volume controls and im all set?

Thanks for the help, i've now found many sources and many different options, exactly what i was looking for.

we ran 3/4 hot and cold to the shower and i'll just adapt to 1/2 if the valve calls for it.

. What size water heater should we put in the house? Its a about 1500 sq ft with 3 bedroom 2 bath

Think about just the new shower. Low flow shower heads use 2-1/2 GPM and I don't know what the rain head will use. Figure just the two heads will use 5 GPM so that would take a good protion of the hot water from a 50 gallon unit for a 10 minute shower. I realize not all the water used is hot but I am also thinking about the cold water replacing the hot in the heater. This is going to affect the temp of the remaining water in the tank. You are correct with running at least a 3/4" header to the shower unit.
