Help installing dimmer switch!! older house

HI

I have a dimmer switch that has 2 reds, 1 green and 1 black

My wall switch only has 2 reds and thats it. (just a standard light switch)

how would I hook this up?

ps house isn't grounded - has an older breaker switch box.

You have a 3-way dimmer and are trying to replace a single pole switch. Check the instructions to see if it can be used as a single pole or take it back and get a single pole dimmer.
