We are remodeling our Kitchen and would like to add another 4 way switch. I tried my best to figure it out. I could get all the lights to work but not in every scenario.

I'll do my best to explain what we have.
Switch #1 3way- Black top left screw to power in, Red- bottom left screw to bottom left screw of Switch #2 4way, White bottom right to bottom right of switch #2.
Switch #2 4way Top left Red to Bottom left of switch #3 3way, Top right Black to wire nut to White from bottom right of switch #3, White to Neutral
Switch #3 Top left Black to light

Easiest wiring for me would be to add the additional 4way between switch 2 and switch 3

Thanks

Top. left, right means nothing on switches. It is the screw colours that are important.

Easiest is to run a three wire cable from one of the three way switches. If you have to run the cable from the four way then you need a four wire cable.

It does. What you need to do is replace the three way with the four way and put the old three way in the new switch position. This will put the three ways at the end and the four ways in between.

Run a 3 wire cable from the existing three way box to new three way switch box.
Take the wire off the COMMON(black) screw and connect to black of new cable.
Take other two wires off and connect to one set on new four way. Connect red and white from new cable to second set on four way.

At new switch connect black to COMMON(black) screw and red and white to other two screws.
