Sure am pleased to have found this Forum. From what I have read so far, it sure looks like a great place. Thanks for allowing folks like myself to join in.

We live in SW Fla, native to the state (rare these days) Country living on 5 acres on private dirt road. Retired for almost 20 years now. Enjoy woodworking, repairing most anything including computers. Currently involved in a remodel of kitchen, dining, family room as well as upgrading all floors.

We love animals, stray, feral or domesticated. Feed all the creatures that come to our place daily.

Again wish to thank you for allowing us to join in.

Lot of similarities (not JUST old n grey!) We live in my wife's grandmothers house on 23 acres - see my post here in intros. Right now, I am trying to get a handle on where to start. Since it is getting hot here in N Louisiana, I am voting for a bath redo. My wife, who is partly crazy, :laughing: wants to work outside. Since she still works for a living, that translates out to I "want" to work outside! NOT! We are still in negotiations on this one but I am ahead for the moment.

I am assuming if you live in SW Fla, you must be close to Sarasota. That is the one area of Fla I haven't been in at one time or another. I've been all up and down the Atlantic side, all through the panhandle and down to Tampa. We really want to go to Sanibel sometime, if there is anything left of it after all the storms.

BTW, who is that ugly kid to your wife's (?) left?? PM me. Inquiring mind wants to know.
