Hi everyone. I landed here after 2 weeks of frustration with my Furnace. I paid for a tech to come out only to find out he only want to replace part and was not really being very helpful at willing to find the root cause of the furnace issue. So I have had no heat for 2 weeks now and been googling trying to understand more about my furnace which lead me to this forum.

Hi, thanks everyone for the welcome and the help with my furnace issues.

Most if not all technicians/company will tell you they have a "trip" charge to come out and take a look at the problem. I paid him/his company the "trip" charged as agreed upon over the phone.
