I have been in and around residential construction on a small level, all of my life as well as commercial (construction) finance. I have never actually built a house but have remodeled (gut jobs) many rentals and investment houses over the years. I learned carpentry young and love all things related. That all being said, I will be building a new home for the wife in the next 12 months, and have finally gotten the nerve up to do it myself. I will have alot of questions, many that are probably pretty simple and insignificant but that I have never had the answers to. I have the business and banking background to handle that end, have dealt with inspectors, permits, etc, have a GC license, but to be honest, still feel like a fish out of water. Help me out and please take it easy!
