Hello all, from Lancaster County PA thanks for allowing me to join. I've owned my house for 20 years it was built in the 1880 s Since I purchased it I noticed it had a cistern in the basement. Up until now I've not found many people having a clue about cisterns so nothings been done to restore it yet. I stumbled upon the discussion topic and have many questions about cistern designs and how to get them back into operating condition.

I look forward to getting involved with people having cisterns and can provide some or any information in its design and whats necessary in getting it back up and running again.
