Hi, new here. Looking forward to posting here once in a while. My son has an older Heil furnace model NUGK075DG07. The plastic impeller in the combustion blower was loose and rubbing on the bottom of housing to the point it would no longer run fast enough for furnace to light. Went over to dealer and test ran the motor on his bench. Ran find. Got a new impeller kit and reinstalled blower assembly. Running ok so far. My question is their supposed to be a metal spring clip on the plastic shank of impeller to help hold it in place on the motor shaft? Didn't find one on old impeller and new kit didn't come with one. Dealer thought it should have had one also but it wasn't in the kit. Just seemed kind of flimsy to me. Wish I would have took a couple pics before I put it back together.

The ones without the clip. The opening is made small enough, that it maintains enough pressure on the shaft. That it doesn't slip back off.
