Hi all. My first post and I did do a search. I have an older Lennox electric furnace, late 70s, only the lower two elements come on. After testing I found that power, for the upper two, stops at the sequencers. Now the problem, Lennox no longer supply's them and they are no longer in production. I know that there is a substitute but I have no idea what I'm looking for Lennox calls them Heater relays and others call them sequencers I don't know if they are the same thing. I have seen what are called stacked sequencers they look completely different from mine but might work. I guess I am looking for someone that can walk me through finding a replacement.

Thank you
Floyd

Can you give a part number or post a picture to drop box or equal of it and link it here. Sequencers are pretty common devices and you can use anything that fits if it has the same number of stages and the control voltage is the same. Any data written on it will be helpful.

I suggested Drop Box or equal since you aren't allowed to post pictures directly in a thread until you have the required minimum of posts according to forum rules. You'll probably get that minimum in this thread alone... but for the moment, Drop Box it.

If you have that old school Honeywell sequencers and fan relay combo control it is obsolete.

Only solution is to rip them out and rewire the furnace with conventional sequencers and that is quite complicated even for a tech.

We usually replace those furnaces with newer ones.
