I am trying to figure out the manufacturer of my Heat Pump unit. I have the schematic, however it is quite weathered and I am only able to make out the following:

Heat Pump Model HB030/036KOW.

The unit is one of the self contained that hangs on the side of the building. I have seen them used alot for construction trailers, etc.

I am trying to diagnose whether I have a bad capacitor or not. It used to work back in the fall. Now the blower will come on and blow air through the ducts. However, neither the Compressor or the cooling fan (fan that blows air across the cooling coils) will come on. I see where there are two capacitors-- one for the compressor and one for the fan.

My question is would one bad capacitor cause the other unit to not function. Bad capacitor on the Compressor cause the cooling fan to not turn on and vice versa.

So your unit has 3 capacitors?
1 for the indoor fan
1 for the outdoor fan
1 for the compressor

Correct it has 3 capacitors. However, on further investigation I found that for whatever reason the contactor was sticking on one side. I am not certain why. When I turned the breaker off, I noticed that the contactor did not drop out on one side. I pushed it in and out a time or two and it seemed to free up. I then reapplied power and everything seemed to be working correctly. The outdoor fan was blowing the compressor was kicking on and it was blowing cold air in the house. I am thinking about changing out the contactor. Evidently it was not the capacitors as I had suspected. Also, I did a little more investigation and was able to find the model number for the entire unit complete with manufacturer.
