We have a heat pump. The heat is working, but the unit outside hasn't been coming on. The other day it was warm enough to run the ac, but when we turned the ac on it tripped the breaker.
If the outside unit hasn't been coming on. then you have been heating with your aux heat. And if that heat is electric resistance, then you will have a big electric bill coming.
