I had a service tech check out my unit, he jacked up the heat first off. After a while the fan shut off outside and he said it went into defrost mode. It was only about 60 and damp outside. I thought this was strange. The coils started to frostup and it just buzzed for the longest time. Why would it frost up if it was supposedly in defrost mode. He said I may have a bad defrost control board. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks

Could be a problem with the fan motor, the dual run cap, reversing valve, or the defrost board. May or may not have been in defrost. If the RV doesn't move over while in defrost the coil will frost.
