I would like to install 3/4 inch T/G hardwood (not engineered) over concrete slab with a vapor barrier and 3/4 plywood underlayment. Sleepers are not an option due to height.
The slab is grade to above grade and I am doing the moisture test. Assuming it's dry will this work? What type of vapor barrier: felt paper plastic, trowled mastic? Will the 3/4 be enough for the nails to sink into without hitting the concrete?
