So I have three huskies. We are preparing to install a white oak hardwood floor in the living room and dining room. With huskies, no matter how hard we try To clean, there always seems to be some hair floating around. Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to prevent hair from settling into the poly finish? We definitely don’t want to preserve any of the hair into our new floor.

Their claws will probably ruin the finish anyway.

Install new prefinished hardwood and it it can be just swept up.
Finished on site and it will take 3 coats if done right and about a week to completely dry.
