HI,
I have hardwood floors in my dining rm. and living room. They are in very good condition and are varnished. I wanted to just freshen them up at little without totalling sanding the existing varnish off. Would the chemical in trisodium phosphate (a strong solution) be enough to "rough up" the existing varnish...so that a new coat would adhere and make the floors look shiney and fresher, or will I run into the problem of the new varnish flaking off?
Please let me know if there is any way to freshen up the floors without heavy sanding.
Thank you,
Mark
