The handles for my metal framed patio door are coming loose.

Basically the screw goes threw the first piece of metal, and there aren't any threads or anything that it screws into, so it will be tight for a week or so, then come out or be loose.

What is the best way to attach those to the door frame?

Replacement handles?

The handles are OK, its just they don't really screw into anything.

I believe the screws go through the door and attach to the handle. Be safe, G

Not for these, there is only a hole on one side.

You might need to get a larger piece of hardware. If you can post a picture,this will be easier. If you can't, take the handle and the screw to a local hardware store and show them the problem.
