Get a 120v to 24v transformer. Connect to 120 side to a spade terminal labeled EAC and the other one to a spare Neutral terminal. Then connect the wires from your humidifier to the 24v side of the transformer. The EAC terminal is energized whenever the fan is on but it is 120v that's why you will need the transformer

Buy a humidistat or thermostat that has the capability to turn the fan on when your not calling for heat, it will work through the G wire.

You have to do what I mentioned above. For instance, the Aprilaire automatice control can be wired to turn the fan off and on with a call for humidity. It will require you to use a seperate transformer and also has an outdoor sensor.
Or you can buy a new thermostat that has a humidity feature and wire the humidifier into it and you wouldnt need the seperate transformer. The thermostat would give you the option in the installer menu to either have the humidifier run on a call for heat, or it could be set to run the fan and humidify on a call without heat also.
If you buy the aprilaire control, it wouldnt matter what you have running to your exisiting stat but you would need to run two wires between your furnace and the Aprilaire control. One would be connected to the C terminal and one would be connected to the G terminal. You would also need to use a seperate transformer
