Halo HT7 Recessed Light Housing - Can you dim bulbs with this housing?

I have not purchased the bulbs for these yet, and I am aware that
if I want to dim a ceiling recessed light, I have to purchase a LED bulb
which says that it is dimmable, but do you have to factor in whether
the "housing" is dimmable or not as well?

I am only interested in this model below (Halo HT7).
Are these potentially able to dim light bulbs when the bulbs I purchase specify that they are dimmable?

The model of can makes no difference in dimming.

It is the lamps that you need to concern yourself with when it comes to dimming.

And the suitability for them of the type of "dimmer" used.

Yep .

In other words , the lamp and dimmer must be compatable with each other .

God bless

There is an exception to that statement.

There are a number of cans that have ballasts for fluorescent lights, made with 2 or 4 straight pin sockets. With those cans and the externally ballasted CFLs, there can be a differance in whether it is dimmable or not.
