I ran across this couplerr at HD and it makes me curious. It is a coupler with a 1/2 EMT set screw connector at one end and a strain relief non-metallic sheathed cable connector at the other end. My curiosity come from my understanding that neither sheathed cable nor the wires that are in a sheathed cable meet code when placed in EMT due to insulation heat rating. So how the heck could one use this and be code compliant. HD says that the coupler is UL listed.

Sheathed cable is ok in EMT but if you remove the sheath the individual conductors are not ok in EMT. They are not labeled.
