I'm trying to learn how to use a grout bag for doing concrete repairs. It seems like the perfect thing to pump mortar into all sorts of random cracks. But it is not quite working the way I expected. It is okay for putting mortar on the surface if I keep moving, but if there is any kind of back pressure, it just seizes up and I can't squeeze a drop. Do I have to add even more water or use a certain type of mortar (I'm using the Sakrete "Type S")? Or do I just have unrealistic expectations of my grout bag?
