help!
i just bought a new flush mount ceiling light and have accidentally ripped out the ground wire on the fixture during installation. Is this a problem? Should I try to find another means of grounding the fixture or should I try to reconnect the ground wire to the fixture with electrical tape?

Affix the wire with a screw or nut/bolt.
