Hi,

I am searching for any info on retrofitting my existing pot lights in the kitchen to pendant fixtures. I have heard of a kit to do this, but I can't seem to get any leads.

Thanks

I have two of these in my kitchen. They're pretty easy to install. However, they give you an A15 socket, which means you're a little limited in bulb choices. You can get LEDs and CFLs in the intermediate socket, but they're more expensive. We just went with a standard 60W incandescent. Don't forget to pick up a shade! When we got ours, we wisely stopped by the clearance cart and found beautiful blue shades for some ridiculously low price like $1.50.

Home depot has a kit

Home Depot carries a kit different from Lowes. Price about $10-11. You would hang your pendant lite from the parts supplied.
