If you can, use an angled backer, and JB Weld. Also, knowing what it is you're trying to do would be of immense help.
Sorry for the terrible explanation. Here's the complete picture.
I am tiling a bathroom that has one outside corner and tile on both adjacent walls.
See pic #1
I bought some tile profiles that are edge only profiles to cap the unfinished edges of the tile. The only profiles that were in stock were not designed for outside corners. So I bought the edge profiles and figured I could make it work.
What I believe to be my two options at this point:
A. Glue the edge profiles together to create a nice square corner.
See pic #2
B. Place the edge profile on the adjacent wall. This will create an open "L" when viewed from above. Not as aesthetically pleasing, but easy to do.
See pic 3 & 4. #4 is sort of what my profile will look like.
If I go with option A, gluing them together, how long do I need to hold the JB well together by hand? After some point I suppose I could tape it off to allow it to finishing curing. What can I clean the excess glue off with?
Is there another type of glue I can use that will cure clear?
Mating surfaces are 1/2" at most.
