Would a gfci breaker protect a regular outlet in a bathroom, would it pass code?

Could a gfci breaker protect the whole house on old two pin no ground style outlets?

Gfi protection can be provided by a gfi breaker or receptacle .

Either will work on two wire circuits without a ground.

No, the GFCI will not provide a ground. It will provide GFCI protection.

You will not have a ground but you can legally install three prong receptacles so three prong things can be plugged in.
