Getting ceramic tile installed and need non-slip treatment

Just install tile with the rough suface already made into it.

I used a product called Johnny Grip a while back on a porcelain tub but I know the website says its good on ceramic too. Not sure about using it outdoors though.

Even with non slip stuff on it, doesn't it still scream safety hazard in your eyes? Why not something like stamped concrete? They do some pretty nice designs these days and can seal it with a gloss finish to mimic tile. I'd be afraid to slip and crack my head open with tile around a pool, even with non-slip stuff on it I'd be hesitant walking on it with wet feet.

There are plenty of non-slip tiles on the market---good looking ones,too---If you haven't selected your tile yet---do some looking----
