GE space saver dryer is leaving black marks on thin clothing, sheets, pillow cases, etc. Clothing appears to be getting between the rotating drum and front housing. Three service calls. 1st tilted unit backwards slightly, second one replaced some sort of ring/seal at the front of drum, 3rd one said "I have no clue". Now it's out of warranty and GE says they would give a discount on the next service call.
Has any one had this black mark issue and if so, what was the solution?

You had three service calls for warranty work and the issue was not resolved? Or was the problem fixed for a period then reoccurred. ? If it was the former , then they still owe you a fix I would think .

Unit was never repaired. After the warranty was up, GE offered me a 20% discount on labor for an additional service call. I was not unprofessional but firm in the lack of customer appreciation. GE didn't agree to extending the warranty just because the issue was never repaired. I found one other GE customer with same complaint and GE never repaired that unit either. She was demanding a new unit as I recall still 2 years later. A very expensive lesson learned about GE.
